Question on converting National Service Life Insurance to permanent insurance
The article explains that permanent policies have higher initial premiums but fixed rates, while term rates rise every five years. It notes term insurance can become very costly at older ages, whereas permanent rates stay constant. It also addresses educational assistance for dependents of veterans who die from nonservice connected causes while totally and permanently disabled due to service-connected disability.
