Clifton Cubs Booster Club organizes with 70 members

The Clifton Cubs Booster Club formed with 70 members this week and elected Gerald Rice as its first president. Buck Lively as vice president, Sam Logan as secretary treasurer, and three directors including Jean Pierson Oran Canuteson Jr. and Doyle Hulme. The club adopts by laws and aims to boost the Clifton Independent School District athletics with meetings at 8 p.m. Mondays at Clifton High School.

Cubs Prep for Connally Friday in Waco

Clifton's Cubs travel to Connally Stadium in Waco to face the Cadets after a hard fought loss to Midway. Lions District Governor Boyd to Visit Clifton Club

Larry G. Boyd, Governor of Lions International District 2-X3, will address the Clifton Lions Club at noon Tuesday September 23 in the City Hall dining room. He leads 59 clubs with over 5,200 members across fifteen Central Texas counties and is a charter member of Heart O' Texas Lions Club in Waco.
