Bosque County Hay Show Deadline Set for Sept 25

Clifton hosts the first annual Bosque County Hay Show on Oct 24 at the Green Building Clifton. The entry deadline is Sept 25 2009 with a $5 charge for the first bale. Entries may be square bales or round bale samples submitted via vo ag instructors or at Clifton Ag Shop. Barbecue meal tickets provided. additional entries $1 per bale. Sponsored by Bosque County Hay Show Committee Bosque Soil and Water Conservation District and Bosque County.

Bosque County Hunter Education Course Set for Oct 6–7

Bosque County Constable Scott Ferguson announces the annual Hunter Education Course on October 6 and 7 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Bosque County Annex 500 Hwy 174 Merrian. The fee is 15 dollars and eligibility requires birth on or after September 2, 1971 with age nine or older for certification. For deferrals eligible to 17 and older costing 10 dollars, contact Ferguson at 254 435-2071.
