Ole Anderson Dies At Cranfills Gap October 19
Ole Anderson, longtime Cranfills Gap resident, died at home Sunday October 19 1941. Born April 24 1861 in Lolten Hedemarken Norway he came to the United States in 1878 at age 17. Survived by wife Christine Finger married 1889 and children Alfred Helmer Johnnie Ove Kiddie and AIC Anderson all of Cranfills Gap plus several grandchildren and siblings. Funeral held Tuesday at St Olaf Lutheran Church with interment at the family lot.

Mrs. Alice Townsend Dies in Clifton Home
Mrs. Alice Townsend died early Tuesday at her daughter’s Clifton home after a brief illness. She collapsed around six o’clock while dressing, uttered “I can’t do it” and passed away with her daughter Mrs. Fred W. Nelson present. Deceased, born May 28, 1850 in Liberty Mills Indiana, lived in Clifton forty years and was active in church and civic life.
