Halloween Carnival at School Saturday
The 1971 Halloween Carnival sponsored by the PTO will be held Saturday October 30 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the school. A bingo booth, booths in the gym, and a snack bar will operate with a spaghetti supper 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost 1.00 for adults and older students, 0.75 for grades 1–5, and 0.50 for preschoolers. The Clifton Boosters net $247.06 from a rummage sale held last Saturday to reduce indebtedness for CHS athletics and facilities. Booster president Ed Bryn thanked the Clifton area for support as members viewed the Clifton- Connally game film. The next meeting is Nov 9 at 7 p.m. in the school cafeteria. Pep rally is at 6:30 p.m. tonight with a pre game victory line for Friday’s Cubs game.
