Veterans in College Must Have Certification
Jack Coker of the Veterans Administration Region al Office in Waco announced an October reminder to veterans enrolled in college about GI Bill enrollment certification. Veterans must present two Certificates of Eligibility, with the school sending one to the VA. Initial checks cover the amount due at September end, but many schools lack a full month of sessions, so early payments may be partial. Thereafter no action by schools is required, but veterans must certify attendance monthly to receive payments. delays occurred when students failed to return enrollment certificates.
