Death of Agnes M. Knudson Mourned in Clifton

Agnes Marie Knudson 70 of Clifton died peacefully October 28 at Memorial Hall Sunset Home after a two year illness. Born September 28, 1896, she devotedly cared for parents and relatives and aided neighbors throughout Bosque County. Survived by relatives. funeral plans on back page.

Grand and Petit Jurors Named for Bosque County Term

District Clerk Mrs. Josie M. Hardwick lists Grand Jurors for the 52nd Judicial District Court term beginning Monday November 7 with names from Clifton Valley Mills Mosheim Morgan Iredell Crawfills Gap Meridian and China Spring. Frank Felts Dies In Local Hospital

Frank L. Felts 85 resident of Tyssen Hall Clifton Lutheran Sunset Home died 8 15 pm Thursday October 27 at Goodall Witcher Hospital after critical illness since October 13. Survived only by sister Maybelle Haralson of Clifton. Born September 21 1881 in Litchfield Illinois he moved to Oklahoma City in youth and later to Clifton Sunset Home February 19 1965. Worked as wholesale meat and grocery salesman in Oklahoma City. Married Blanche Kupka in 1903. she died in late 1930s. Funeral October 30 Clifton Lutheran Sunset Home Chapel conducted by Rev Walter T. Gigstad. Pallbearers listed. Interment Clifton Cemetery.

Cub Scouts Meet at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post Home

Clifton's Cub Scout Pack 234 held its first pack meeting at the VFW Post Home on October 24. Cubmaster Joe K Brown welcomed attendees. Den 3 led with songs while Den 1 performed a Panning for Gold skit. Awards included Gold Arrow Points for Jimmy Tarpley Claude White Michael Pierson and Jay Culp Silver Arrow Points for Jimmy Tarpley Eddie Latham and Ricky Brown Bear Badge Eddie Latham Lion Badge Michael Pierson Webelos Badge Kenneth Barnett who also advanced to Boy Scouts.
