Cubs edge West Trojans 30 15 in tough district test
Clifton High Cubs stamped their sixth straight win with a 30 to 15 victory at West last Friday night. The Cubs built a 12 7 halftime lead and surged late with two fourth quarter touchdowns including a 47 yard pass play from Canuteson to Fehler and a final 21 yard pass to Canuteson. West threatened consistently but Clifton’s defense and ground game produced the decisive scores as Roberts, Grelle, Todd and Canuteson led the attack.
