PTO Halloween Carnival at Clifton School Gym Saturday
Clifton residents and families are invited to a PTO Halloween Carnival in the Clifton School gym this Saturday October 28. Activities include a cake walk bean guessing contest grand prize bean bag toss and a melodrama with multiple showings plus a fish pond and white elephant sale. Proceeds support the PTO and a spaghetti supper is planned in the cafeteria.

Show Opens Here Today at Central Texas Polled Hereford Event
The Clifton annual Central Texas Polled Hereford Show and Sale starts Thursday October 26 with over 100 entries already received. About 30 exhibitors from across Texas compete for more than 41590 in prize money. Judge Jim Strawn of Eldorado Oklahoma partners with his father in Strawn Polled Herefords, the two time grand champion breeder in Worth. The Saturday sale includes 40 bulls and 12 females.
