Clifton Firm Key Player In Dallas Fort Worth Airport Project
Clifton area Chemical Lime Inc played a major role in the Dallas Forth Worth Airport construction with its lime stabilization work in 1971 to 1972. About 200000 tons of lime were supplied and the firm claimed travel 3500 to 2000 trips between Clifton and the airport. The airport covers 17500 acres and aims to handle 15 million passengers by 1980. The project was called largest lime stabilization effort and involved multiple companies.

Residents Ask 25 MPH Limit on Road in Bosque County
Fifty one residents from Pop Sample Camp area petitioned the Bosque County Commissioners to set a 25 mile per hour speed limit on the road from Farm to Market 1713 to the K and M Lodge. The court will review steps to enact the limit. The road carries 165 vehicles daily and serves many children and elderly residents.
