Stars of Milky Way Triangle Bright Night Sky Guide
The Milky Way Triangle or Summer Triangle forms with Vega Altair and Deneb. Deneb is the distant bright star in Cygnus, while Altair and Vega are nearer. Deneb appears faint but outshines the Sun in true brightness, and the column previews the Autumn sky with a brief calendar and future topics. The article links Deneb to Cygnus and Altair to Aquila as part of the Milky Way pattern.
