FallFest 09 Clifton features quilt auction car show and art
Clifton hosts the 18th annual Quilt Auction at the Armory at 10 30 a m and a 7th annual Car Show with registration starting early downtown on Saturday. Vendors offer wood pottery clothing stained glass jewelry and more. Cosmos Universal will perform spray art with Cosmo Martin Martinez known for youth outreach and public art.

CHS Band Captures Grand Champion at Paluxy Valley contest
iLe.N ROSE Clifton Oct 10 top honors at the third Paluxy Valley marching contest. In prelims at Glen Rose the band earned a 2A win and in finals was named grand champion, defeating 5A 4A and 3A schools for overall top honors.

Homecoming activities begin at Cub Stadium at 7 pm with a Friday night game against the Hico Tigers set for Dim. Principal Stacey Cockrell urged all students and families to attend the pep rally at 9 15 am in the gym. New Museum Exhibit Opens Early Education In Bosque County
Bosque County museums unveil an exhibit on the history of local education from one room log schools to the eight current districts.
