Kind Reunion Brings Clifton Family Members Together
The Kind Family Reunion was held October 2 at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post Home in Clifton. Attendees included four daughters and many relatives from multiple cities, sharing a noon covered dish meal and stories. Eleanor Miles of Mosheim was pledged to Alpha Gamma Delta at Texas Christian University after Clifton High School graduation in 1960.

Mr and Mrs Ted B Evans left last Sunday for a combined business and leisure tour. The trip will pass through the Smoky Mountains and continue into New England states during early autumn. He aims to meet farm implement makers and distributors while she seeks antiques along the route.

Magazine Club Opens Year With Travel Program
Clifton Magazine Club held its first 1960 61 meeting at 3:00 PM on Tuesday September 20 at 302 North Avenue K. Twenty three of 25 members attended along with three guests including Mrs S L Witcher and Miss Elsie Coston. Mrs C L Goodall presented a travel program titled Travel Talks and a rug account of their European trip. Mrs Witcher showed motion pictures from the trip and refreshments were served afterward.
