Funeral services for Elmore Canuteson 63 of Clifton will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Methodist Church in Clifton conducted by Rev. Piez Todd and Rev. J Morris Bailey. Burial will follow at Clifton Memorial Park Cemetery. He died Tuesday night at the Masonic Hall in Clifton.

New Postal Rates Increase Christmas Mailing Limits
Postmaster Robert Baldridge reports two postal changes affecting this Christmas season. First class mail now allows 30 pound parcels between distant first class offices, and rural patrons can send 70 pound parcels. The price gap between first class and third class has been removed, with first class at 6 cents per ounce and third class at 6 cents for the first two ounces. See Postal Rates Page 6-A.
