Henry Lammert Dies at 89 in Clifton
Relatives report the death of Henry Lammert 89 of Clifton at 6:35 PM on Saturday November 19 in Goodall and Witcher Hospital. He was born November 18, 1877 in Germany and immigrated as a child. Survivors include his wife, two sons, four daughters, a sister, 14 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral held November 21 at Trinity Lutheran Church Clifton.

Annual Smorgasbord Draws Large Parish Crowd at Norse
Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Norse hosted its 18th annual Smorgasbord on November 16 and 17 drawing capacity crowds. About 720 guests from abroad and 100 Norse residents enjoyed meals prepared by church and community ladies, with Miss Ruby Mixon funding two chartered busloads from Fort Worth. Attendees traveled from across Texas and beyond including Austria, Hong Kong, and Maryland.
