Funeral services were held for John J. Murphree 74 at Clifton Funeral Home Chapel. Murphree of 1600 Proctor Avenue Waco died November 7 at Veterans Hospital Marlin after years of ill health. Burial in Boggy Cemetery followed. He had served in World War I and leaves a wife sister and several nephews and nieces.
