Funeral services for Jesse T Eggen age 73 19 months and 26 days of Cisco were held at Clifton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Erwin H Knitt officiating. He died Saturday May 9 at St Pauls Hospital Dallas after illness since February 1963. He was born June 14 1890 in Norse Bosque County and was a pharmacist at Cisco City Drug Store retiring in 1963. Interment at Our Savior's Church Cemetery Norse with pallbearers including Dr. Troy Eegen and T J White. Retired World War I Army Medical Corps veteran member of American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Airman First Class and Mrs Ger ald Gray of Salina Kansas announced the birth of their son Gerald Mitchell at Schilling Air Force Base Hospital on May 4 1964. The baby weighed 6 pounds 14 ounces. Mrs. Ethel Lee Walker Dansby, 65, of Clifton, died in a local hospital on Tuesday May 12 after a long heart condition. Funeral services were May 14 at First Baptist Church Clifton with Rev. Clay L. Burns, pallbearers named from Clifton and nearby towns, and burial in Clifton Cemetery. Surviving are son Elmo Dansby and three grandsons, plus five sisters and three brothers. Her late husband William Harrison Dansby preceded her in death in 1955.

Death of Nick W. Goodrich Sr. at 86 in Marlin
Nick W. Goodrich Sr. aged 86 of Marlin died at 6:45 AM Tuesday May 12 after a long illness in a Marlin hospital. He headed the Internal Revenue Office in Waco for 15 years before retiring in 1948 and remained in Marlin to farm nearly 1200 acres. Surviving are his wife six sons three daughters a brother three sisters 18 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services were held May 13 at St. John's Episcopal Church in Marlin with interment in Calvary Cemetery.

Emmett H Schow Dies Suddenly While Fishing at Lake Whitney
Emmett H. Schow, 70, of Clifton, Texas, died of a heart attack Sunday night while fishing below Lake Whitney Dam. He was born February 22, 1894, and served in World War I. He lived at 218 North Avenue M and was a longtime Clifton merchant and community member. His funeral plans were not listed in this fragment.

At the Bosque County Democratic convention in Meridian on May 9 delegates and alternates were named to the Texas State Conventions in Houston June 16 and Dallas September 15. Albert Hastings chaired, with J. P. Word Luther Raley Roland Holford and Mrs. George B. Arnold among delegates. alternates include Frank Kirkpatrick and several Word family members.
