License Reminder From Game Warden For Spring Fishing
The game warden reminds all anglers to carry a valid fishing license before fishing this spring. Licenses are required for most fishers, with exemptions for those under 17 or over 65, and for individuals fishing on their own property or within their home county using pole and line or certain lines, as long as no winding is used.
Licensing and fishing rules warn holders and pond owners
The Game Warden urges checking license needs and avoiding tickets. Black Bass applications were due April 1 with no further deliveries until next spring. Channel catfish applications may still be filed. Caution against taking fawn deer from the wild as it is illegal and dangerous. leave fawns in the wild and allow mothers to return.
