History of Banking exhibit in Bosque County
An exhibit titled History of Banking in Bosque County features over 40 historical items on display in Clifton. The Bosque County Democratic Convention meets in Meridian at 2 p.m. to select six delegates for the State Convention in Houston June 18 and 19. The remaining 25 percent head to the Democratic National Convention in New York in July.

The Clifton Volunteer Fire Department put out a fire in a city garbage truck Monday morning. The vehicle was at the J. D. Godbey welding shop for repairs at the time.
