Death of Mrs. J. D. Jameson in Clifton Texas
Mrs. J D Jameson died Monday morning April 28 1941 at eight oclock after months of illness. Born November 27 1872 near Whitney Texas she lived in Bosque County since 1895 and left nine children eight grown. Funeral at First Presbyterian Church Clifton with Rev As Moore and Rev Mack Stirman. burial in Clifton Cemetery. Survivors include husband John Daniel Jameson and seven children. many relatives and five granddaughters attended.

Father Of J L Gerloff Dies Of Heart Attack
C A Gerloff of Hughesville Missouri father of J L Gerloff of Clifton died at his farm home from a heart attack Friday. He would have turned 74 on May 12, after many years in Central Missouri. He leaves a widow three daughters two sons and many grandchildren. Surviving children listed include Lester Brula in St Louis Mary Gutloff in St Louis J C Bwakhamer in Bethany J bn Gerloff in Clifton and C A Gerloff in Moody. Funeral services were held with burial at High Point Cemetery Hughesville.

Rev Walter J Mankestad born in Suttons Bay Michigan August 1800 was ordained in 1917 in St Paul after studying at Luther Seminary Parkland and Pacific Lutheran College. He served churches in Petersburg Alaska Pasadena California Norge Virginia and Cranfills Gap before his death April 27 at Mint feet.
