County taxpayers urged to renew car tags by April first

Bosque County residents were reminded by County Tax Assessor-Collector Earl Behringer that the final day to purchase new car and truck tags is Friday March 31, with Texas law requiring 1967 plates on vehicles by April 1. Behringer noted many residents would line up Friday to register their vehicles.

White Baron Chutists to Perform At Clifton Airport Dedication

The Clifton airport dedication will feature the White Baron chutists with a jet fighter fly over and static aircraft display under possibility. Local JayCees and JayCee-Ettes will manage parking, refreshments, and courtesy cars while officials from Clifton and state leaders attend. The event starts at 2 p.m. four miles from Clifton on the Old Meridian highway.
