Immanuel Aid Meets at Church for February Session
Members of Immanuel Lutheran Church Ladies Aid met February 7 in the church basement with Mrs Herbert Leck hosting. Mrs O L Golden led a devotion on Abounding in Our Witness to America and plans were made for a covered dish supper and a New Guinea mission pictures showing by Herman Propp.

Mrs Charles M Isenhower hosted the J Y Bridge Club at her West Pecan Street home on March 8. After a dessert plate the group played four bridge games with Mrs E Stewart winning high and Mrs E A Priddy second. guest high was Mrs J Bruce Parks. Traveling prizes went to Mrs Parks and Joseph O Nelson. Other attendees included Mrs Stewart Priddy Parks Nelson and several named members. Next meeting will be with Mrs J C Kincheloe on Friday afternoon.

County 4-H Eliminations Set For Saturday March 23
Bosque County 4-H eliminations will be held Saturday March 23 1963 at 9 00 A M in the Meridian School Cafeteria all 4H members with demonstrations must register by 9 00 A M to receive times. Contests end by lunch. Two Bosque County 4 H members competed at the Hamilton County Junior Livestock Show on March 15 Ray Lee of Crawfish Gap placed 5th with a Southdown fat lamb and won first in fat steer calves 650 pounds and up plus Champion steer Ray also won the beef cattle showmanship award Randy Lee won his Hereford heifer in the Houston Calf Scramble and she was Champion female of the beef cattle division. Sheep and Goat Field Day at McGregor Experiment Station March 29 starts 9 30 A M with a meeting to elect a Texas Sheep & Goat Raisers Association director.
