Courthouse Annex Remodeling Nears Start
The Bosque County Commissioners' Court in Meridian will move ahead with remodeling of the county courthouse annex. Davis Building & Supply of Meridian submitted the low base bid of 16435.95 for the project and the court asked Ted Derrberry of the firm to preserve the building's antiquity including colored glass windows with bronze frames. County Commissioner Ray Miller will act as administrative officer for change orders, and funds will be added to the 1976 77 budget. Also appointed to the Central Texas Economic Development District board were County Judge Charles Ward Jr. County Commissioner J Paul Howard and Constable Claude Burns. Bosque County Child Welfare Board members named were Louis B. Robinson and the Rev Lester Davenport.

The First Baptist Church of Laguna Park starts a 36000 expansion including a 1536 square foot educational wing with six classrooms. The youth building and fellowship hall will be remodeled and the sanctuary refurnished with pews and carpeting. National Building Centers of Clifton will build the educational wing. The Rev.
