Lake Whitney association notes windy conditions last weekend but good fishing. Lake levels at 523.08 feet, about 10 feet below normal. water at 53 degrees. Notable catches include C. W. Dennis with 14 channel catfish to 8 pounds on minnows, Allen Armstrong with eight black bass to 3 pounds, and Jack and Margaret Medart with two striped bass to 7 pounds plus creel of 35 crappie to 2 pounds split among anglers.
