Clifton Junior High School boys captured their bracket in the Junior High Basketball Tournament by defeating Glen Rose in the finals. The Clifton girls fell to Glen Rose in the finals while consolations were played in Clifton last Saturday. Ronnie Mekerson and Louis Pelan of Clifton joined Bob White of Glen Rose and others on the boys all tournament team. girls recognitions included Ann Finstad and Jana Cate among others.

Bosque Memorial Museum to Open Sundays in March
Mrs. Ole J. Hoel Sr. reports Clifton’s Bosque Memorial Museum will open Sundays from 2:00 to 5:00 PM starting Sunday March 8. The museum will then be open to the public each Sunday at those hours after winter closure. Mrs. Beatrice Marshall of McGregor became a medical patient at Clifton hospital on March 4.

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Cochran Ragsdale age 81 of Clifton died February 28 after extended illness in Clifton and Goodall Witcher Hospital. She was married to Will T. Ragsdale February 18, 1906 and leaves a granddaughter Lucille Hill and two great grandchildren Sharon and Keith Hill. Funeral held February 29 at Clifton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clifton Teens Injured In Multi-City Car Crashes
Three Clifton youths sustained injuries in separate crashes last week. Dwight Olson was hurt in Dallas while driving a mail truck. Frank Billman and Mike Prescher were injured in a Waco two car collision on North 25th Street and Austin Avenue. All were treated in Hillcrest and Clifton hospitals with Frank receiving stitches and Mike head injury X-rays ongoing.

Walter Rudolph Mollman aged 64 years 10 months 4 days died about 10 15 Tuesday night March 3 in Clifton local hospital following asthma a collapsed lung and complications. He was born April 30 1899 in St Louis Missouri married June 30 1925 in St Louis to his wife who survived him with no children. He lived in Clifton since 1955 and resided at Tyssen Hall Clifton Lutheran Sunset Home since February 16 1961.
