No One Hurt In Two Car Crashes In Clifton
No one was injured in two minor motor vehicle accidents this week in Clifton. Chief Homer Waller reports a two car crash on North Highway 6 Saturday evening and another two car crash at West 6th Street and Highway 6 Monday afternoon.

Bosque County 4-Hers Have Strong Show Results
Bosque County 4-H members excelled at the Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show in Fort Worth and the San Antonio Livestock Exposition. Twelve 4-Hers placed in Fort Worth with top finishes in steers heifers and sheep, and eleven more competed in San Antonio with champions and reserves, including Walter Poston Jr and Steve Merrill. Paul and Steven Jones won the Calf Scramble, earning $100 toward a livestock project.

Couple Injured in Wet Road Crash Near Valley Mills
A husband and wife were injured when their car skidded on wet Farm Market Road 217 and hit a telephone pole three miles northwest of Valley Mills. Harold Henry Gray of Valley Mills sustained minor injuries and his wife Leona a broken wrist. Both were treated at Goodall-Witcher Hospital in Clifton and released. State Patrolman Gerald Baker cited wet roads as a hazard.
