Four Injured In Three Accidents On Sunday
Four persons sustained injuries in three separate crashes in the area Sunday according to State Highway Patrolman Gerald Baker. A Glen Rose couple, Oren D. Page and his wife, were hurt when their car left Farm Market Road 1181 hitting a concrete culvert near Brazos Point at 1 30 a m. Page and his wife were taken to hospital with injuries. Page later moved to Dallas Veterans Administration Hospital for surgery while his wife received care at Johnson County Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.

Hastings Nominated For NARC Director At Conference
J Albert Hastings of Crawfills Gap was nominated for the National Association of Regional Councils board at the seventh annual conference in Minneapolis and Washington. Hastings spoke as a nominee with backing from multiple delegations and faced the eventual winner Martin A. Hagerstrand of Muskogee. Attendees included 1,200 delegates. Hastings has long led the Central Texas Economic Development District and held local Democratic party roles.

Two Hurt In Crashes In Town This Week
Two persons were injured in accidents here during the past week, according to Chief Homer Waller. Scotty Bell of 702 South Avenue O complained of possible whiplash neck injuries after a contact with a vehicle driven by Larry Hudson of Iredell on Highway 6 and Farm Market Road 219 Friday morning.
