C W Lambert 87 of Star Route 2 Clifton died June 17 after a recent decline in health. Born near Seguin October 17 1897 he was the eldest of nine and long a Norse community farmer near Clifton. He married Ora Johnsen and had four sons and two daughters.

Youth Education Theme Touched by Trinity Women Meeting

Clifton's Valentier Fire Department responded to a report of a burning car around 1 60 am Tuesday. A blue 1962 two door car owned by Mrs J F Williams was a total loss after flames spread from the back yard where the vehicle was parked. Mrs Williams woke to the horn and found the car on fire, notifying the fire department.

Summer School Lunch Workshop Held at TWU Denton
The annual workshop for school lunch supervisors and staff took place at Texas Woman's University in Denton from June 14 to 18. Co directors were Dr Jessie W.
