Arthur Spurgeon Dies in Louisiana Burial Services Held Here
Arthur D. Spurgeon, 70, resident of Clifton for two years, died Thursday night at 7:30 at the Veterans Hospital in Alexandria after a February stroke while driving in Whitney. He was treated at the Whit ney hospital then transferred to the Alexandria hospital and had spent most of his life in Dallas and Fort Worth areas. He is survived by Anita Hamilles of Minersi Wells and others. Services were held locally.

Moncrief Suffers wrist injury at Cli-Tex plant
