Clifton supporters raise funds for a three day state tournament trip in Brownwood. Estimated cost about 756 dollars with 678.44 raised so far and the balance promised by the Clifton Baseball Association. Bosque County residents received 576 215 dollars in social security payments each month at the start of 1976. Repairs planned for Clifton area school roofs
Repairs to storm damaged roofs at Clifton High School and Clifton Elementary School were approved at a Clifton Independent School District board meeting. Emergency work costing about 1300 will cover fifth and sixth grade classrooms at the Elementary School and a bid process for the CHS roof was authorized. The contractor must guarantee two years against leaks. Fence extension near the Lions Club concession stand was approved at about 100 dollars.
