Former Cliftonian takes extended Texas tour with daughter
Mrs. John Feth once of Clifton now living in Los Altos California planned a multi city Texas tour with her daughter Jan to celebrate her mother Berta Standefer’s 83rd birthday and to show fan favorite Texas spots. They began in Lubbock with a Zeta Tau Alpha reunion, then Fort Worth Dallas Clifton Houston Corpus Christi and Padre Island with reunions in Roscoe and a birthday party for Mrs. Standefer. Jan, a UC Santa Cruz junior, returned home earlier while Mrs. Feth continued on to Phoenix before Padre Island reunions and Clifton visits.

Ponice Holden of Jonesboro High School joined 2,000 delegates at the 1960 National FHA meeting July 14 to 17 on the Colorado State University campus. Accompanied by adviser Mrs. Leon White, she represented Texas along with 119 other FHA members. The theme Action for Accomplishment guided officer presentations and workshops emphasizing youth involvement in constructive activities.

Mrs Carroll Home After Heart Surgery Moves to Kingsville
Carolyn Carroll returned home last Friday from John Sealy Hospital in Galveston after a successful heart operation. She was hospitalized a month in preparation and spent the weekend with her parents before moving with her husband to Kingsville.
