Local Sunset Home Resident Carl Stewart Dies at 84
Carl Stewart 84, a lifelong resident of McGregor and Clifton areas, died Friday morning July 16 in the local hospital after being admitted July 14. Born December 4, 1880 in Covington Georgia, he was a farmer and carpenter who never married and was survived by a nephew Harold Stewart of McGregor. Funeral services were held July 17 at the Clifton Lutheran Sunset Home Chapel with interment at Harris Creek Cemetery near McGregor.
