Lake Whitney Sees 34th Fatality Since Formation
Jame McMaughton 36 of Fort Worth drowned after falling from a boat on Lake Whitney Sunday July 4 around 7 30. The incident marked the lakes 34th death since formation and the second in ten days. A 19 year old Ennis boy drowned earlier. rescuer James Singleton saved another before McMaughton could be reached. The body was recovered Monday morning and arrangements were pending in Fort Worth.

Farm Bureau leaders to tour five midwestern states
