Kevin Finstad Feted on His 8th Birthday

On Friday June 30 Mrs J M Finstad Sherry and Keith Finstad hosted a backyard party at 1114 Mary Street Clifton to celebrate Kevin Finstad turning eight with a Wild West themed hot dog supper. Guests played three games won prizes awarded to Dean Sather Scott Jonrad Randall Bramley and Roger Parks. Kevin opened gifts then the group enjoyed cake punch and decorations matching the centerpiece and invitations.

Sixth Annual Schulze Reunion Held June 25th

The sixth annual Schulze family reunion met June 25 in Trinity Lutheran Church Clifton Texas with a bountiful meal and prayers by Rev. Ted Steenblock. Officers elected: Monroe Kruse president James Davis vice president and Mrs. Burton Collins secretary treasurer. Next year’s reunion set for June 24 1973 at the same venue. A birthday tribute to Mrs Neal Mildred Schulze preceded a program of readings and performances.

Program Closure at Families Group Meeting

Dr. George Larson led a program with singing of How Great Thou Art and May the Good Lord Bless and Keep You. Mrs Murrey Jenson directed with her son assisting. Monroe Kruse became president and urged elders’ tributes and youth continuation. About 80 relatives signed the register and adjourned for coffee and cake with memories to carry to next year.
