Courthouse records list numerous property transfers in Bosque County including sales in Clifton Valley Mills and Meridian. The records note several 1972 vehicle registrations across Meridian Valley Mills Waco and surrounding areas with buyers and sellers named.
Mr and Mrs Eugene J Gerik announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter Patricia to Robert Glenn Reesing son of Mr and Mrs Raymond Reesing of Star Route 2 Clifton. The couple will marry August 19 at 1 PM in the Church of Assumption West. The bride elect works at Purvis Bearing Co Waco. The groom works at Wilson Building Material Inc Clifton.
A chain used by surveyor George B Erath during the 1854 Meridian county survey appears in the Bosque Memorial Museum. Pauline and Mary Pierson, descendants of local families, carried the chain as the last lot was measured. The origin of its transfer to the museum remains unclear.
