Grandpa P M Kell died at Wichita Park January 23. Funeral from Clifton First Presbyterian Church Friday at 2 o clock, with Masonic rites to follow. He was born April 24 1882 in Indiana and left many descendants including daughter Mrs RG Smith of Wichita and son Frank Kell Jr. among others.
Governor Hobby said a Dallas gathering of supporters and good government friends encourages him. He repeated a pledge that under his administration the prohibition issue will be resolved by Texas voters and that the supreme issue is winning the war and making Texas the most helpful state in the world crisis. He thanked Texans for their assurances.

Alexander Cantrell seven year old son of Mr and Mrs Newt Cantrell died Thursday evening after a long illness. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church with Rev George F. Kory officiating and Ernest Sansom preaching. Burial followed at Old City Cemetery. The family and friends mourn the loss of a patient boy whose brief life left a memory cherished by all who knew him.
