Clifton Mayor Fred Volcansek praised HOTCOG after three workshops gathering city officials Chamber of Commerce and economic groups to set top priorities. Meagan Henderson will guide Clifton’s economic development planning with HOTCOG planners turning ideas into a future city plan and potential grant opportunities. Volcansek, elected to HOTCOG's 2011 Executive Committee, says the city is well positioned to leverage programs and funding for Clifton and Bosque County.

Clifton Municipal Court January report to Clifton City Council
Municipal Judge Bennett Morrow presented Clifton Municipal Court’s January totals at the February 8 council meeting. Sixty nine violations were logged with charges including speeding, curfew, noise, unregistered trailer, no operators license, expired licenses, cell phone use in school zone, stop sign disregard, unrestrained driver and child, address changes, unlicensed drivers, failing to report changes, improper signaling, driving wrong way, and other infractions. Fines reached 10838.10 and court costs 4437.75.
