Two-Vehicle Wreck on FM 219 Near Clifton Causes No Injuries
A Monday collision on FM 219 one mile east of Clifton involved a 1966 Mustang driven by David tarlan Wilburn and a 1957 Dodge Pickup driven by Milton Charles Allen. All three westbound vehicles, left turn by the pickup led to the Mustang striking its left rear. No injuries reported.

Carr Texas ranger Billy Gunn and officers from several Central Texas counties announce the arrest of three of four Corsicana Negro men linked to burglaries at Clayton Mercantile Co and Gandy Food Store during the last week of January. Ages 17 19 and 26. Most stolen goods were not recovered as they were disposed of before capture.
