Numerous families and relatives from Clifton Waco Marlin Joplin Fort Worth Lake Jackson Dallas Lubbock Iredell Hillsboro Brownwood and Brownwood gather for Christmas and holiday visits. Guests include the C B Cleveland family the Keelings Ray Jordan and others staying with E R Keeling and in the Olsen home.
Miss Irene Flint visits Mrs. James Jackson in College Station with James Jr and Jennifer. Mae Gong er and the Fiat family, along with Mr and Mrs Henry Fairchild of El Paso, attend the gathering with relatives.
Mrs R C Radford of Marlin Mrs John R Hudson and sons Ross and Duan of Houston spent last Sunday in Clifton as guests of Mr and Mrs R Q Allen and attended the Allen Thompson wedding at Trinity Lutheran Church. Mr and Mrs Mark Whitney took Mrs B W Whitney to Fort Worth on Christmas Eve where she boarded a train for Memphis visiting her mother Mrs C E Gowan and sister Miss Dorothy Gowan until Sunday when she returned to Fort Worth and was met by her son and daughter in law

Christmas Eve dinner at Mr. and Mrs. Oren J Canuteson Sr featured guests from Dallas area and beyond including Mr. and Mrs John Gibson Sr and Jr with children John II Paul and Jane of Waco. Also present were Dr Naomi Dunlap, Mr and Mrs Jack Harris and sons Bryan and Stephen, Miss Caroline Do well of Austin, Leonard A Gibson and son Leonard Jr of Fort Worth, Mrs D Carpenter of Weslaco, and Mr and Mrs Oren J Canuteson Jr with Jim Pat Caryn and Lynn. Mr and Mrs John Canuteson could not attend due to moving from Chicago to Madison for work on a doctorate. Mr Canuteson earned an MA in English from University of Illinois on Dec 17.
Mr and Mrs John Christenson and children of Pinole California visited from last Monday to Tuesday this week to celebrate the Christenson family 50th anniversary and Christmas with Ole J Christenson and relatives Also present were Mr and Mrs Allen Christenson and their children from Austin to mark the parents anniversaries and share the holiday season with the family
Mrs J E Chambers hosted Christmas Day with her five children and families. Present were Bert Agostini and son Ronnie of Sacramento California Van Chambers and family of Papillion Nebraska Tom Payne and son Kent of Temple Joe Sanderson and O Neal with sons Steve and Mike of Laguna Park.
Oswalds from San Saba visited Friday to Monday near Clifton at the home of Walter A Oswald and family. They were joined by Deborsh Johnny Rennie and relatives. Also visiting were Mr and Mrs L E McQuinn and their son Dale who attends the Naval Academy.
Mr and Mrs Ernest Love of Dallas visited Clifton from Friday of last week until Monday enjoying local sights and hospitality during their short stay.
Mr and Mrs Jenkins and their children Dewey and Rebecca visited during the Christmas weekend with his father CB Jenkins and Mrs Jenkins at Mary end also with her mother Mrs WA Sheppard near Waxechachie. Mr and Mrs Luther Bollard of Corsicana and Mr and Mrs ...
