Lions Club Hosts Visiting Aviators At Luncheon
Clifton Lions Club held a Tuesday luncheon with aviators from the auto-giro wind mill aircraft visiting the area. The event featured a landing and aerial maneuvers over the field, plus a musical program by Antoinette and Mary Westgaard. Oscar J. Rea, formerly of Clifton and now Houston resident, spoke briefly. President C. H. Feese led the event with short talks as business was largely set aside for the visit.

Raymond Evans Returns with West Texas cotton legacy
Raymond Evans and his family from near Post on the west Texas plains arrived Wednesday to spend the holidays with relatives. Mrs Ellen Jenson born in Norway January 25 1846 came to the United States as a child. She lived in East Texas and Bosque County before settling in Clifton Texas most of her later years.
