Christine Borreson died December 22 at her husband Bernhard Borreson’s home in Temple Texas after moving from Ringsakey Norway. Born December 1 18 81 in Ringsakey she was baptized into the Cheweian faith. surviving are her husband four children and several relatives including Mernhard Marresen and Olen Borreson. The funeral at Novsw Church followed by interment near her husband’s grave.
Anton Amundson born June 5, 1860 in Hed market Norway. He trained in faith, moved to the United States, settled Clifton Texas, married twice, and left a large family including wife, children, grandchildren, and relatives in Texas. He lived and worked in the Clifton area for years and later departed this life.
Mr T W Anderson of Harmony northwest of Clifton suffered severe eye injuries from gravel blown by a small child’s torpedo at close range. Doctors in Clifton and Temple fought to save his eye, with hope to preserve some sight. He lost the other eye years earlier, and relatives pray for a full recovery of health.
The Neri dian Court column records several parties seeking marriage licenses including Neetu Wise, Ruby Law Garton, and Cravens among others. Amid local notices, names such as Roy Comer Tyler and Lanphaet appear with surrounding families noted in Clifton and nearby areas. The entry also lists court actions and civil matters including a foreclosure suit in district court and appearances by residents from Clifton, Mervin, and Walout Hovlie.

Merchants promoted towels sets, linens, blankets, and kitchenware as shoppers browsed stalls from Wallaris to Manket, while families sample foods and enjoy local entertainment at the fairground.
The ceremony took place on December 2, 1911, at 2:30 p.m. at Methesiot Church in Vaiity Mills with Rev A. A. officiating. The bride, daughter of Mr and Mrs A G Smithy, wore crepe and carried flowers. After the ceremony the couple planned to reside in Black, with many friends sending best wishes for their life together.
