New Federal Law Regulates Firearm and Ammunition Sales
The Gun Control Act of 1968 requires licenses for selling firearms and ammunition after December 16. Many retailers such as grocery and hardware stores must obtain licenses, with a $10 annual fee, and sales to under 18 are forbidden while buyers 21 or older may purchase pistols or related ammo.
