Clifton students in grades 4 through 8 present a Christmas program at Bettis Auditorium Sunday at 3 p.m. The two hour show features carols and hymns, a Rosemary Hadler cantata, and songs telling the birth story with scriptures interwoven. VFW Christmas Supper Set for December 13

Leon-Bosque Planning Okayed for Regional Area
Congressman Omar Burleson said the Leon-Bosque Resource Conservation and Development Area received a planning authorization recommendation from the Soil Conservation Service. Final approval rests with the Senate and House agricultural appropriation subcommittees as local leaders await progress in Comanche Eastland Erath Bosque Somervell counties. Work began in 1965 and the area would be among twelve US RC&D projects undergoing formal planning.
