Death of G S Knudson at Cranfills Gap Bosque County
G S Gus Knudson age 73 died at his Cranfills Gap home on Friday November 25 after years of ill health. He was born January 30 1887 in Mustang community Bosque County and was a lifelong member of St Olaf Lutheran Church Cranfills Gap. He married Pauline Rohne in 1907 and had three sons Oscar Milton Glenn and five daughters. He is survived by his wife and large family including two grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

The First Methodist Church Men’s Club will sponsor a new Boy Scout troop with Melvin Kleine as scoutmaster and Kenneth Patterson as assistant. Institutional Representative James H. Mrs. Bronstad Dies Buried in Clifton
Clifton mourns the death of Mrs. Oscar Bronstad aged 75 and 4 months. She died Wednesday morning November 30 in a San Antonio rest home after living in Clifton and Coolidge. Funeral services are set for Friday December 2 at 1 30 PM at the Coolidge Methodist Church with Reverend Ollie Apple. graveside rites follow at 3 45 PM at Clifton Cemetery.

Grandson of Clifton Woman Seriously Injured in Waco Area Crash
Gene Bullard Jr eight year old son of Mr and Mrs Gene Bullard of Houston was seriously injured in an automobile collision four miles south of Waco on the Marlin highway while en route to Clifton for Thanksgiving with his paternal grandmother Mrs Joe Stacha and relatives. He remained unconscious at Hillcrest Hospital until Tuesday when he regained consciousness. He suffered multiple fractures and lacerations including both legs pelvis shoulder and head injuries and was placed in a cast from the waist down. Mrs Bullard also injured with three broken ribs and facial lacerations. Mr Bullard had minor injuries. Stephen Bullard uninjured and staying with relatives in Clifton. If he improves he would be moved to Houston in about ten days for care at a Houston hospital before returning home.
