Clarence Mitchell attended the Lynette Story Kenny Brynne wedding in Clifton Saturday night.
Mr and Mrs Robert L Welsh relocate to 719 North Wakefield Street Arlington Virginia from Dallas Following Mrs Kay Kincheloe and family as part of a Department of the Interior assignment Welsh a 1972 SMU Law School graduate was selected among five to fill vacancies for the Board of Land Appeals The couple traveled via Arkansas Tennessee Virginia and Maryland to their new home and were joined by their families for the move.
Trinity Lutheran Church Clifton plans a month long study of Paul's Philippians with personal home study and Thursday evening group sessions led by Pastor Ted Steenblock. The 40 minute study sermon precedes the 10 30 worship each Sunday, with HE TEV Good News translation and Holy Communion on Sept 3.
Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl Ragsdale Tidwell 81 of Dublin were held at 3 p.m. Saturday August 26 at the Dublin Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed at Iredell Cemetery. She died Friday August 25 in Dublin Hospital after a long illness. She was a Methodist and a daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Tom Ragsdale of Clifton. She grew up in Clifton and lived in Dublin many years. Surviving are six nieces and four nephews listed from Clifton Laguna Park Hillsboro Dublin Irving Dallas Ft Worth and Morgan.
