65 Join Cub Booster Club Tuesday Night

Fair Entries Down From Last Year At Clifton
Exhibitors from eight central Texas counties poured into Clifton for the fair but late Tuesday officials had not tabulated final entry totals. Livestock entries reached 264 with 47 swine 65 breeding beef heifers 57 beef steers 31 fat lambs 34 breeding sheep and 10 dairy cows. Last year recorded 303 livestock entries, so this year’s livestock figures are down. The home economics show drew many entries ahead of Saturday’s dress revue and judges prepared Wednesday morning.

Civic's Famous Turkey Dinner Slated Friday
The Clifton Civic Improvement Society invites the public to a family style turkey dinner at City Hall dining room starting 11 a.m. Friday.
