Annual barbecue at Chapman's Ranch draws wide rural turnout
About two hundred ranchers feeders and friends attended the Chapman family barbecue on their ranch between Valley Mills and China Spring. Visitors from Maryland toured the yards and noted 482 pound steers and 150 bushel corn yields aided by barnyard fertilizer while shipments to Lewter Feed Lots in Lubbock were planned.
