City tax revenues exceed estimates after July receipts
City Secretary M. R. White told the City Council last week that property tax collections totaled 78 375.69 as of July 31, ahead of the 77 600 estimate. Higher receipts come from delinquent taxes and new construction like the Clifton Bank building, though exemptions for disabled veterans reduce some income.
