Burglars Hit Three Places Here Sunday

Clifton police report Sunday burglaries at Central Texas Lumber Co and Clifton Livestock Commission Co. Total cash taken from the lumber yard ranged from 27 to 30 dollars with checks untouched. The office was entered via a rear window and the cattle operation was ransacked but no merchandise vanished. A hose nozzle was broken and gas stolen from City Barn. Officers suspect juvenile or amateur culprits and pursue leads.

Five Shoplifting Suspects Released On Bond In Bosque County

Misdemeanor shoplifting charges were filed against three men and two women arrested in Clifton last Wednesday afternoon. All were released on $500 bonds from Bosque County Jail. One man Caro Galbiati pleaded guilty in County Court, was fined 250 and warned for enhanced penalties on any future Bosque convictions.
