Clifton Record Earns 6 Bikes in First Week Contest
Six bicycles awarded in one week under the Earn a Bike Subscription Contest. Thirty seven kids have signed up across Bosque County. Blues Go For State Title At Monahans Tournament
The Clifton Freshman Blue Sox travel with players from other teams to Monahans for a single elimination state baseball tournament. Manager Huffman and Coach Felan lead about five carloads of players and parents, hoping for wins Thursday through Saturday. Community donors provided 420 dollars for meals and lodging. Clifton qualified by sweeping district playoffs in Mexia, defeating Robinson 4-2, Groesbeck 6-1, and Riesel 2-0. Clifton Cardinals also claimed a consolation trophy at Stephenville.
